FLASHFUSION |
|
The Printronix L5535 printers feature FlashFusion technology. This
innovative system uses high intensity light to fuse the image onto the
media. The cool process completely eliminates the heat and pressure of
traditional laser fusing systems. The result is a printer that doesn’t
require expensive “laser friendly” adhesives, and is capable of printing
on difficult media like plastic cards or synthetic materials. |

By combining the reliability of continuous forms
printing and the flexibility of FlashFusion, this printer becomes the
ideal product for challenging high volume print applications. The
Printronix L5535 is rated at 35 pages per minute and a workload of
300,000 pages per month. Its PSA2 architecture means it is completely
compatible with existing line matrix or thermal applications, providing
a seamless migration path for users looking for higher performance. It
can handle forms from 7” to 17.5” wide.
